John 2:1-11:

1  And on the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
2  But Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the wedding.
3  And when there was no wine, the mother of Jesus said to him, They have no wine.
4  Jesus said to her, "Woman, what have I to do with you? My hour has not yet come."
5  His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
6  Now there were there six stone water jars, according to the Jewish purification custom, each holding two or three buckets.[1]
7  Jesus said to them, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them to the brim.
8  And he said to them, “Draw out now, and carry it to the head of the feast.” And they brought it.
9  When the head steward had tasted the water that had become wine (and he did not know where it came from, but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the head steward called the bridegroom
10  And said to him, "Everyone serves the good wine first, and then, when they are drunk, the inferior wine; but you have kept the good wine until now."
11  This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.
